Course Description: Many small businesses don’t have a professional staff member dedicate to all things HR, yet desperately need to know “the basics” of employment policies and processes. In five short, pragmatic sessions participants will learn about hiring practices(Avoiding Mr. Right Now”), compensation and benefits (“It’s All About the Money”), handbook and policies (“I Fought the Law and the Law Won”),investigations (“It Wasn’t me”) and employee relations.
